Fellowships
Opportunities for fellowships from the Dutch government.
Researchers who have recently completed their Ph.D. and want to perform research in Leiden on a topic of shared interest may consider applying for a fellowship to work in our group. From the Dutch government, two types of fellowships are available:
The VENI grant:

This grant is for three years. It will cover 3 years of salary + some extra 30 kEuro for other expenses. More info is on the webpage, where you can also ask for a Dutch or an English brochure, by email (see the webpage). The fellowship is open to researchers of all nationalities.
The Rubicon grant:

This grant is for one year. This grant also offers the opportunity to work on a subject of your own choice, as long as it coincides with the interest of the group you would be working with. The fellowship is open to researchers of all nationalities other than Dutch.
